Pinterest Faves: Week of 2/3/13 - 2/9/13

I can't find the original site these rings came from but I really want the little bird one!

Animal Rings

I love these because you can make them with whatever you have in the fridge. Serve them with these.

Spinach and Mushroom Egg Cups

Then serve this for dessert. #PerfectBrunchmenu

Raspberry Chocolate Coffee Cake

I want to do this project under my bathroom and kitchen sink.

Self-adhesive vinyl tile under used under sinks

Every summer we see Kenny Chesney play at Gillette Stadium. This year's countryfest tailgate is going to have to include these pre-made drinks in mason jars, chilled on ice.

Can't wait to drink one of these while tailgating next to this.

The Perfect Breakfast Sandwich

Sunday is the perfect day for brunch.

I broke out an electric griddle I bought a few years ago to make some breakfast sandwiches and they were AWESOME!

Here is what I did:

Set the griddle to 275 F and place the applewood smoked bacon on first. Cook for approximately 10 minutes, flipping the bacon over every few minutes.

**I wipe the excess bacon grease off the griddle as it cooks with paper towel held with tongs.

When the bacon has about 3 minutes left to cook butter a bagel and place on the griddle, cut side down. Press down gently with a spatula.

Crack an egg in the center of the griddle. Season with pepper and cook for 1 minute. After 1 minute, break up the yolk gently with your spatula.

Remove your bacon to a paper towel over a plate to drain. Turn off the heat on the griddle and flip the egg over.

Put your bagel on a plate. Take 2 slices of American cheese and lightly hold them on the hot griddle for a few seconds. Once they start to melt lay them over the egg.

Move the egg to the bagel with your spatula. Grab your bacon, break the strips in half, and lay on top of your egg. Top with your other half of bagel.

Just as good as any breakfast place I've ever been to!!

Nutella Croissants

If you love Nutella beware!!

These are way too easy and way too delicious.

It was very difficult not to eat every single one of these after they came out of the oven.

For anyone that has not tried Nutella it is a chocolate hazelnut spread that is very, very addicting. I had mostly had it on toast or crackers but on a trip with my family in Paris a few years ago I tried it in a croissant. Croissants are great on their own so adding Nutella was just a bonus!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 1 package of crescent rolls
  • 8 tablespoons of nutella
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 egg beat with a fork

Pre-heat your oven to 375 F.

Open the crescents and separate them into their pre-cut triangles. Brush each triangle with melted butter.

Place 1 tablespoon of nutella at the larger end of the unrolled crescents.

Roll up the crescents starting with the larger end. Lightly pinch around the edges to seal.

Brush the crescents with the beaten egg.

Bake at 375 F for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Let's take a closer look!

Oh yummmmmmmmm :)
